Contract Solution Architect

We have an immediate high-priority contract requirement for a seasoned Solution Architect to partner with a key client in Hamilton. The client has a substantial backlog of projects and enhancements currently on hold that require urgent review shaping and sizing.

This is a pure architecture and strategy role not a hands-on tech-lead position. The ideal candidate will bring a mature steady presence to the environment possessing the experience to confidently untangle ambiguity map out the big picture and determine the best path forward for a stalled portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Revival: Review a backlog of on-hold software and infrastructure initiatives assessing their feasibility and sizing.
  

• Conceptual Design: Produce clear high-level end-to-end solution diagrams to define what is needed without getting bogged down in low-level code.
  

• Information Gathering: Proactively and tenaciously navigate the organisation to find and collaborate with the right subject matter experts.
  

• Strategic Alignment: Translate complex business requirements into structured technical options clearly highlighting trade-offs for stakeholders.
