Chief Financial Officer Contract 3 months may extend

This well-known high-growth technology or software business based in Auckland is seeking a highly versatile and experienced CFO for a short-term contract.

About the role:

The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the organisations strategic direction driving financial performance supporting international growth and ensuring strong governance.

This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking finance leader who thrives in technology-driven environments and is passionate about scaling global businesses through data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the companys global finance function including financial planning reporting treasury tax audit and risk management.
• Partner with the senior management and executive team to develop and execute growth strategies
• Provide strategic financial insights to support investment decisions acquisitions partnerships and new market opportunities.
• Manage investor relations activities and maintain strong relationships with shareholders analysts and external stakeholders.
• Drive forecasting budgeting and performance management processes across the organisation.
• Optimise capital allocation and cash management to support sustainable growth.
• Strengthen financial systems processes and controls across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Support commercial initiatives through robust financial analysis and business partnering.
• Lead mentor and develop a high-performing global finance team.

About You:

• Proven CFO or senior finance executive experience within a high-growth technology company (desirable)
• Experience operating across multiple international markets and jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated success supporting growth transformation capital raising M&A or scaling initiatives
• Deep expertise in financial planning and analysis corporate finance risk management and regulatory compliance
• Chartered Accountant (CA) CPA or equivalent professional qualification
• Experience within SaaS AI language technology or digital services businesses would be highly advantageous
