About the role Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

Are you someone who enjoys solving problems improving the way things work and turning ideas into action Do you have a knack for technology systems and getting things done If you love variety and enjoy being at the heart of projects and continuous improvement then this role could be for you!

As our Business Improvement and Project Support person youll be the go-to person for daily systems project support and the execution of support needs across Workwise.

Youll work closely with Workwise teams to understand how they work and identify the inefficiencies getting in their way. Youll help develop and lead the implementation of new processes and technology solutions that improve the experience and performance of our teams.

Youll collaborate as part of a project team on larger-scale projects and take the lead on smaller continuous improvement initiatives. Youll also build strong relationships with key stakeholders coordinate project deliverables and support the successful adoption of new systems and processes.

Youll be responsible for:

  • Providing strong administration and coordination support across projects
  • Championing business improvement and the value of quality business processes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems processes and efficiency
  • Supporting project planning and ensuring deliverables are completed within timeframes
  • Creating and implementing systems and processes
  • Using technology to achieve work objectives
  • Analysing project challenges and finding practical solutions
  • Training others in the use of systems and processes as required
  • Working with the Business Operations Manager on service improvement and quality objectives

About You

As well as relevant project or business support experience you will demonstrate:

  • Strong project planning and execution skills
  • A systems-thinking approach and the ability to identify gaps and develop solutions
  • A high level of innovation and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Experience with process mapping
  • The ability to gather analyse and quickly document requirements
  • The confidence to take initiative and work under your own direction
  • The ability to navigate complexity and work flexibly in a dynamic environment
  • A minimum of three years relevant project or business support experience
  • Experience in a leadership or management role
  • Working knowledge of the social sector
  • A full clean driver licence
