As a Forage Agronomist you will be responsible for planning implementing and reporting on forage trials and demonstration sites working closely with internal technical sales and marketing teams as well as external research partners and growers. This is a handson fieldbased role that combines sound agronomic practice with strong communication data analysis and customer engagement.

About the role and requirements:

• Plan establish manage and report on forage product development trials ensuring data is accurate robust and scientifically sound.
• Maintain forage trial sites and regional demonstration areas to a high standard including sowing maintenance harvesting and data collection.
• Work closely with internal technical sales and marketing teams to support product positioning extension activities and commercial strategies.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with farmers trial cooperators research providers and key industry stakeholders.
• Support field days conferences and extension activities while operating safely and in line with all health and safety requirements.

Ideally the successful candidate will have a background in agronomy agriculture or a related discipline with practical experience in forage systems trials or fieldbased research. You will be organised detailfocused and comfortable working handson in the field while confidently analysing and reporting data to a high standard.

A proactive attitude sound safety awareness and a willingness to travel regionally and support extension activities will be key to success in this role.

Youll work closely with people who are recognised internationally as leaders in their field. You will also be involved with a research and development program that is at the fore front of developing market leading products.
