Job Summary
Key responsibilities will include
- Generate and present monthly financial reports to the broader management team.
- Oversee and evaluate the companys purchase orders to ensure they adhere to financial compliance and are cost-effective.
- Assess general accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and resource utilization while ensuring precision.
- Coordinate the distribution of monitoring results to Division-level management and follow up to ensure engagement.
- Collaborate with Finance teams for regular reconciliations and to support year-end audit processes.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls financial policies and reporting procedures.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports for senior management.
- Identify and apply process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and accounting.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of annual statutory reporting.
- Work closely with Treasury Planning & Performance and Divisional Finance teams to align with organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications :
About you
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to provide meaningful insights.
- High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset.
- Confident communicator able to work across teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 24 years experience in a financial or management accounting role.
- Degree in Accounting or Commerce.
- CA/CPA (or working towards) is preferred.
Skills/Requirements:
- Strong understanding of financial reporting reconciliations and controls.
- Experience with monthly close processes and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software.
- Solid expertise in financial and management accounting.
- High proficiency in financial numeracy and literacy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
- Advanced learning agility.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with JDE is advantageous.
