Job description

As a Project Lead Engineer you make sure everything runs smoothly by leading and coordinating engineering tasks and work with various Engineering disciplines related to HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generators). Ensuring all contractual requirements are effectively implemented and encourage the teamwork within the engineering project team.

In this role you will work closely with the Discipline engineers Design Lead Engineer the Project Manager and the Supply Manager to ensure that engineering objectives align with the project goals. You will be part of the engineering team and will report directly to the Head of Project Engineering.

Job requirements

Key Skills & Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers from different disciplines

Review discuss and provide input on designs specifications and project details throughout all stages of the project

Responsible for the progress of engineering tasks and making sure deadlines and quality standards are being met

Act as a point of (Technical) contact for customers to address questions and find solutions and advise accordingly

Jump in to support the engineering team with hands-on technical tasks or problem-solving when needed.

Make proactive decisions to keep things moving smoothly and tackle challenges as they come.

Monitor budgets to ensure resources are used effectively and efficiently.

Candidate requirements

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

5 years of experience in engineering industrial installations in a project environment

Experience in coordinating engineering project teams

Handling project challenges with a problem-solving mindset

Passionate about project work demonstrating proactive problem-solving ownership and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes with a strong drive for achieving results.

Taking ownership and responsibility throughout the project

Willingness to travel internationally a few times per year.
