Lead Embedded Software Engineer
Main responsibilities
- Leading guiding and inspiring amultidisciplinary embedded software team throughout all phases of productdevelopment.
- Coaching and mentoring team members focusing onboth technical growth and personal development.
- You will encourage collaborative dynamics in theteam creating the ideal atmosphere for the team members to share ideas askquestions and grow together.
- Translating customer needs into robust scalablesoftware solutions using test-driven development (TDD).
- Overseeing the design implementation testingand maintenance of embedded software.
- Ensuring high code quality through design/codereviews and comprehensive testing strategies.
- Continuously improving Agile processes and teamperformance.
- Defining and maintaining the technical roadmapin line with product and business objectives.
Requirements
- A bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role. You are able to create and maintain a constructive atmosphere where the team members can grow individually and as a team empowering the open sharing of feedback curiosity and continuous learning.
- Strong programming skills in C C and Python.
- Experience with embedded Linux systems.
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented design and test-driven development.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN and Ethernet.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams.
- An empathetic and reliable professional who leads the team by acting as a role model.
