Your Mission
As a Field Robotics Integration Engineer you are the crucial link between core software technology and hardware partners. You will travel internationally to integrate high-end autonomy stacks onto diverse UAV platforms ensuring systems perform flawlessly under operational conditions. This role is designed for the engineer who wants to be where the action happens.
What you will focus on:
System Integration: Lead the end-to-end deployment of advanced autonomy software onto various UAV architectures.
Field Operations: Troubleshoot test and optimize systems on-site. You will diagnose complex hardware/software interactions and implement rapid solutions.
Engineering Synergy: Act as the primary technical interface between the internal development team in Delft and global partners.
Ownership: Take full accountability for your project deployments providing feedback to the R&D team to drive continuous product improvement.
Who You Are
Technical Expertise: You hold a degree in Robotics Aerospace Engineering Mechatronics or a related field with a strong understanding of sensor fusion navigation and embedded systems.
Operational Resilience: You have a can-do attitude. When a hardware issue arises in the field you stay calm and find the solution.
Global Mindset: You enjoy international travel. You are comfortable with rotational assignments (typically 3 weeks on-site followed by time at the Delft hub or working remotely).
Communication: You are able to communicate technical concepts clearly to partners clients and internal stakeholders.
