Do you enjoy taking ownership and are you motivated by independently driving business development and strategic opportunities forward Here you will have a key position in expanding Sectra Communications in the Netherlands and surrounding European markets managed by the Dutch office. Together with the commercial team local leadership and headquarters in Sweden you will play an important part in driving growth building relationships and supporting the business through high-impact commercial activities.
Sectra Communications operates at the intersection of cybersecurity defence and critical infrastructure. We develop secure communication solutions used by governments defence organizations and institutions where failure is simply not an option.
As Sectra Communications continues to grow across Europe the office in the Netherlands plays an important role in strengthening the companys presence closer to key markets outside Sweden. To support this growth we are now expanding the team with a Business Developer role focusing on accelerating market penetration building long-term customer relationships and driving strategic opportunities across the public sector and related close collaboration with the commercial teams in the Netherlands and HQ in Sweden you will act as a key driver of growth while contributing with local market insight and regional execution.
The role
This role includes developing and driving business opportunities across the markets managed by the Dutch office with a strong focus on secure communication solutions for governments defence organizations and critical infrastructure environments.
You will operate at the intersection of technology strategy and trustengaging with highly specialized customers in environments where security and performance are critical. This is not traditional sales; it is long-term relationship building combined with high-impact solution development.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify develop and drive new business opportunities across the Netherlands and broader European market
- Act as an ambassador for Sectras solutions in high-level customer dialogues
- Build and maintain long-term relationships within public sector defence and related industries
- Translate complex technical solutions into clear and compelling value propositions
- Capture customer needs and convert them into business and product insights
- Collaborate closely with sales product and engineering teams
- Represent Sectra at exhibitions industry events and strategic meetings across Europe
