Job Summary

We are looking for a Human Resources Officer based in Chimoio to join our clients team. Incumbent must be fluent in both English and Portuguese.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops job adverts and coordinates promotion with Marketing newspapers and recruitment agencies.
  • Supports candidate shortlisting contacts shortlisted candidates and manages all interview logistics.
  • Leads induction onboarding pre employment checks and drafting of offer letters.
  • Oversees work tool requisitions and completion of all onboarding documentation.
  • Creates the annual talent development calendar and budget and tracks all training initiatives.
  • Researches talent development trends and recommends exposure and development programmes.
  • Manages student attachment and graduate trainee programmes.
  • Provides guidance on disciplinary and grievance procedures and advises on HR policies and labour legislation.
  • Maintains disciplinary records coordinates hearings and oversees termination and clearance processes.
  • Manages housekeeping services workplace ambience furniture allocation and contractor performance.
  • Oversees maintenance refurbishment relocation projects and functioning of all building systems.
  • Prepares management reports and compiles monthly board and ESG related HR reports.
  • Plans staff engagement activities and drafts engagement initiatives and internal memos.
  • Develops and implements wellness programmes and administers staff welfare initiatives.
Key Skills:
  • 2 to 4 years experience in a similar or related environment.
  • Fluent and fully proficient in English and Portuguese.
  • Experience in an agriculture FMCG or manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management Psychology Sociology or equivalent.
