Supervisor Manufacturing Engineering

Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor with the seniority to take high impact projects from conception to conclusion that results on Revenue Increase Cost Reduction Safety & Ergonomics improvements for the site. Interacts with different functions to achieve desired results technical knowledge on process and equipment very strong analytical and problem-solving skills project management and factory readiness and transformation using Lean Principles and Tools.

Change Agent for the Function and the Organization.

Responsabilities:

1. Process Definition and Manufacturing Readiness with the following deliverables: Layout Line Balance Cell/Line Design Material Presentation Tooling and Fixturing Process Documentation Training and FPY
2. Equipment / Technology Selection and Capital Justification / Approval
3. Business Unit and Functional KPIs tracking and performance: Scrap Operation Supplies Change Over Standard Hrs
4. Cost Reduction Projects
5. Lean / Operational System Implementation within Business Unit: Standard Work SMED Poke-Yoke
6. Root Cause Analysis Preventive and Corrective Actions Implementation
7. Safety & Ergonomics: Responsible to lead (in conjunction with functional team) Job Safety Analysis evaluation to detect correct or mitigate safety risks and exposures
8. Training & Development: Operations Training on critical operations process definition routing structure
9. Continuous Improvement: Implement at least 1 improvement idea on a monthly basis that impacts Cost Quality or Safety
10. Layout Responsible to define and control the layout and distribution of his business unit

Education & Certifications:

1. Industrial Mechanical Aerospace or Automotive Engineering degree
2. Lean Manufacturing or Lean Practitioner
3. Six Sigma Green Belt or higher desired
4. CAD fluent Solidworks Inventor CATIA ProE
5. Blueprint Reading GD&T Desired
6. Core Tools
7. Project Management

Requirements:

• Metal Mechanic Processes such as Punch Press Bending Forming Welding Brazing Paint Fastening Assembly. Electronic ot Harnesses experience.
• MRP / ERP
• NPD or NPDI Process
• Lean Transformation & Kaizen Events
• APQP
• SPC
• 5-7 years of experience
