Where Youll Make a Difference
- Analyze raw materials intermediates and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
- Perform physicochemical analysis on powders liquids emulsions and dried products
- Conduct sampling and characterization of raw materials according to established procedures
- Execute analytical testing using Gas Chromatography (GC) and Gas ChromatographyMass Spectrometry (GCMS)
- Investigate quality deviations and out-of-specification (OOS) results including root cause analysis
- Make technical decisions regarding the disposition of non-conforming materials
- Participate in sensory panels for flavor evaluation
- Monitor and track quality performance indicators such as Right First Time (RFT) internal and external rejections and On Time Performance (OTP)
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality documentation
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biochemistry Food Science or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the food or chemical industry
- Experience in physicochemical analysis and laboratory equipment handling
- Hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) and GCMS
- Knowledge of quality systems including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Understanding of food safety and quality standards
- Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP (quality modules preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Intermediate English proficiency (required)
