Job Summary
The design engineer is the responsible for perform design and estimations of higher difficult degree.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide support within ENG team for all activities related with design manufacturing problem solving and risk management.
- Assure quality since design point of view through DRBFM methodology and understand cause and effect relationship of risks.
- Review optimize and theory confirmation of design analysis of finits elements.
- Generate RPP ideas through brainstorming.
- Support for analysis and risk evaluation of product. Assure the correct decision or direction to proceed.
- Active contribution in DFMEA development in order to assure customer requirements.
- Collaborate in problem solving with manufacturing and in team where is needed.
Specific Tasks:
- Create 2D drawings and 3D modeling. Including customer and internal drawings.
- Tolerance analysis stack up evaluation and GD&T.
- Apply design tools to optimize design concepts. (Example: DRBFM O-Ring calculations etc.).
- Create BOM for new releases*
- Support for customer quote phase through technical information for initial costing
Qualifications :
- Mechanical Engineering.
- Product Knowledge.
- Engineering Change Request.
- 2D & 3D Drawing Reading / Interpretation.
- Design Verification and Product Validation.
- Technical Risk Assessment.
- Problem Solving
