Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Process Engineer Mechanical Assembly located in Guadalajara North Campus.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager this role is responsible for developing mechanical assembly processes capable of ensuring stability process capability and continuous improvement while supporting production to meet quality cost and delivery objectives.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Develop implement and optimize mechanical assembly processes to ensure efficiency repeatability and robustness.
  • Provide specialized technical support to production troubleshooting mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly issues.
  • Lead and support process-related projects including new product introductions transfers and line setups.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction FPY improvement and productivity gains.
  • Ensure processes comply with quality standards safety requirements and customer specifications.
  • Define validate and document process parameters to guarantee capability and stability.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for process issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing Quality and Maintenance to improve operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures visual aids and process documentation.
  • Design validate and implement poka-yoke systems and error-proofing solutions.
  • Support implementation and optimization of smart torque systems PLC-controlled equipment pneumatic systems and liquid cooling processes.
  • Participate in customer interactions technical reviews and audits.
  • Monitor and improve key manufacturing indicators such as FPY scrap and cycle time.
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to process technicians junior engineers and assembly supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and audit requirements.

The experience were looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Mechatronics or related).
  • Experience in mechanical assembly processes within electronics or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge in smart torque systems PLCs liquid cooling pneumatic systems and poka-yoke methodologies.
  • Experience in process development validation and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge in maintenance concepts and troubleshooting of assembly equipment.
  • Experience working with production control and manufacturing systems.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising technical personnel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience interacting with customers and supporting audits.
  • Availability to support production needs.
