Job Summary

Description
Responsibilities
  • Lead all Environmental Health and Safety programs for the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities to reduce workplace hazards.
  • Lead incident investigations root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Monitor and report EHS performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage regulatory inspections audits and compliance reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate emergency response plans drills and business continuity activities.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees contractors and leadership teams.
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering to implement safety improvements and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Manage environmental programs including waste management hazardous materials air emissions and sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects aligned with company and operational objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering Industrial Engineering Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science or related field.
  • Progressive experience in Environmental Health & Safety leadership roles within manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience leading audits inspections and regulatory interactions.
  • Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence leaders and employees at all organizational levels.
