Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid - Birkirkara Malta (Relocation can be provided)
Reporting to: Head of Data

Your mission

• Help own the whole pipeline: orchestration ingestion transformation and serving of data across the business.

• Maintain and evolve our data warehouse keeping an eye on pipeline health performance and reliability.

• Help shape our data model adapting it as the business and its needs evolve.

• Use AI tools to supercharge your own workflow from pipeline building to troubleshooting.

• Partner with teams across the business to understand their data needs and translate them into reliable pipelines under a single coherent data model.

• Contribute to technical decisions on data architecture and tooling as we grow.

What You Bring

• 1 years of experience in data engineering.

• 1 year of experience in igaming.

• Strong hands-on experience with dbt data ingestion and data warehousing tools.

• Experience building with AI models.

• Solid Python and SQL skills.

• Good communication skills with the ability to take ownership and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to haves:

• 3 years of experience in data engineering.

• Strong hands on experience with Airflow Airbyte Git and Snowflake.

• Comfort in using AI to accelerate your work and outside of the box thinking.

• Track record of owning end-to-end data systems and pipelines.

• Working knowledge of AWS.
