Job Summary

  • Be familiar with the departmental systems/processes and their implementation;
  • Review onboarding documentation to ensure that they are complete;
  • Carry out customer screening for both new and existing clients;
  • Review both incoming and outgoing payments to assess rationale;
  • Monitor client transactions and ensure they are inline with the Monitoring Policy;
  • Detect any unusual / suspicious activity and follow the correct procedure in reporting when required;
  • Assess payment rationale and patterns
  • Analyze / investigate any flagged payments and take appropriate action;
  • Respond to queries in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Monitor the departmental queues for alerts on a regular basis throughout the working day; ensuring management are aware of outstanding alerts at end of day;
  • Review and assess corporate clients AML and fraud risk;
  • Create and maintain accurate and concise records of all investigations undertaken including details on the rationale for any decisions made;
  • Seek to build an understanding of the profile of customers highlighted through the transaction monitoring alert process;
  • Investigate and analyze complaints raised;
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders as necessary on any matters countered during such investigations.

Qualifications :

  • Can analyze complex information
  • In possession of a financial services related diploma / degree level of education
  • Previous experience in a similar role within finance and payments will be considered an asset
  • Additional experience in fraud/compliance/AML is considered an asset
  • Conversant with a strong interest in both IT and Compliance
  • Strong work ethic good judgment initiative and attention to detail
  • The ability to represent Fyorin and our brand excellently
  • Having experience in the payments market and knowledge of basic and Card payments principles would be considered a strong asset
