Job Summary
TURRET COMPLETION SUPERINTENDENT
Job Purpose
To coordinate and supervise completion and handover activities for the Turret scope of new upstream midstream and downstream facilities and new renewable plants ensuring that activities within the assigned area of responsibility proceed safely efficiently and to the satisfaction of all parties.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise all contractors activities ensuring they are carried out in compliance with HSE (Environmental Health and Safety) requirements.
Organize and supervise completion and handover work and testing ensuring compliance with project specifications QA/QC procedures and standards.
Supervise all completion and handover activities ensuring they are performed in accordance with the completion and handover plan.
Ensure contractors clear all punch list items and support the Completion and Handover Team.
Supervise completion and handover activities carried out by contractors ensuring the scope of work is achieved in accordance with contract requirements schedule specifications and established standards.
Supervise preservation activities for systems and subsystems.
Ensure contractor duties are performed by competent and experienced personnel in sufficient numbers.
Monitor contractor progress in conjunction with Project Control personnel.
Promptly advise the Completion Coordinator of any areas of concern.
Review contractor documentation including technical reports specifications procedures drawings P&IDs engineering documents and power generation and distribution procedures.
Supervise completion and handover activities across all disciplines including instrumentation piping leak testing static and rotating equipment (gas turbines compressors heat exchangers air coolers) electrical HVAC subsea loop testing pressure testing and related activities.
Ensure completeness and quality of check sheets following witnessing and acceptance of system operational tests.
Facilitate handover to Operations and Production.
HSE Responsibilities
Ensure contractor personnel attend Safety Talks before commencing work and comply with all applicable local HSE requirements and procedures.
Ensure appropriate PPE is used at all times.
Ensure work activities comply with local statutory regulations and international codes and standards governing electrical systems high-pressure systems toxic substances and explosion hazards.
Ensure contractor compliance with Project Hazard Area Classification requirements.
Education
Engineering or Technical Degree (preferred) or
Technical Diploma.
Professional Training
Quality Assurance Courses.
Asset Integrity Management Systems.
Engineering and Construction Management.
HAZID (Hazard Identification).
Experience
Minimum 6 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
Minimum 4 years experience as a Completion Superintendent within the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience using Completion Management Systems such as Eni CCMS or equivalent (WinPCS Procosys EasyPlant PIMS etc.).
Technical Knowledge
ISO 9000 Series and general Quality & Safety knowledge.
Strong knowledge of QA/QC Construction Management Systems.
Mechanical Completion Management Systems.
Commissioning Management Systems.
Commissioning Planning and Monitoring.
Commissioning Works and Testing.
Construction Planning and Monitoring.
Plant / Facilities Start-up and Handover.
Ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors superintendents engineering staff consultants and client representatives.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Ability to work night shifts when required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and maintaining QA/QC records.
Project-Specific Requirements
Proven completion management experience in FLNG/FPSO Turret projects is required with a preference for Turret scope experience.
Previous MMHE Yard experience is preferred.
Demonstrated familiarity or direct experience with completion software tools is preferred ideally EasyPlant.
Professional proficiency in English is required.
