Job Summary

Role Overview:
We are looking for an ambitious revenue-focused Trade Marketing Manager to step in and build out our trade activation division as an autonomous engine. Acting as the core connector between Brand Sales and Logistics you will take high-level corporate goals and turn them into aggressive channel-by-channel activation programs promotional calendars and store-level execution. This position relies heavily on commercial data to uncover untapped revenue streams and expand retail presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Execution & Channel Strategy: Craft multi-tiered trade strategies and activation calendars that align with overarching business goals. Structure customized retail programs pop-up events and channel activations designed to secure shelf space boost footprint and maximize product velocity.
  • Product Performance & Inventory Insights: Continuously track top-tier portfolio items and fresh product releases against historical targets. Run deep-dive audits on account performance track distribution depth spot volume drops and formulate swift corrective plays to protect market share.
  • Activation Lifecycle & Spend Management: Drive full lifecycle execution for consumer promotions trade incentives and in-store marketing events. Align cross-departmental timelines matching sales commitments and marketing campaigns with inventory allocations while auditing past performance to optimize future campaign yield.
  • Field Leadership & In-Store Standards: Oversee on-the-ground operational teams and field representatives to guarantee elite retail execution. Monitor store visit frequency out-of-stock ratios Point-of-Sale display positioning and promotional price accuracy. Perform frequent market sweeps to resolve execution breakdowns in real time.
  • Cross-Departmental Integration: Serve as the strategic bridge across internal teams: collaborate with Key Account Managers on growth plans guide Brand Marketing on display requirements and promotional collateral and coordinate with Operations to safeguard stock availability. Direct external agencies display suppliers and temporary staffing partners.
  • Market Tracking & Framework Development: Design weekly and monthly performance dashboards that deliver clear strategic direction to leadership. Benchmark rival brand movements spot emerging retail trends and build standardized operating workflows as this function evolves into a standalone department.
  • People Management & Culture: Directly supervise upskill and empower a diverse team spanning trade specialists field auditors operational handlers and brand ambassadors. Establish clear accountability metrics streamline internal workflows and cultivate a performance-driven team environment.


Requirements
  • 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Trade Marketing Commercial Planning Category Management or Shopper Marketing backed by at least 2 to 3 years directly supervising teams.
  • Strong background in FMCG packaged goods retail chains wellness/lifestyle products or related high-turnover consumer goods industries.
  • Track record of directing remote field forces brand ambassadors third-party merchandising crews or external vendor agencies.
  • Sharp commercial intuition with a deep command of retail analytics promotion ROI distribution metrics and trade spend optimization.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships across Sales Brand and Supply Chain teams to drive unified business outcomes.
  • High-energy adaptable leader who prospers in fast-paced setups and enjoys structuring processes from the ground up.
