Learn more about us as a workplace are looking for a Technician Maintenance to join our UPM Adhesive Materials Maintenance team. This position will be based in Johor Bahru.

We are looking for a new team member to join our maintenance team. This role is important in ensuring smooth shift operations while offering opportunities to develop hands-on skills and build your technical capabilities. Mohd Suhaimy Mustaffa Maintenance Team Leader

What you will do

• Daily visual inspection and monitoring of all machines and take immediate action when the machines are found in abnormal running condition
• React immediately to troubleshooting when machine problems arise (machine operator reports) and analyze the root cause
• Always carry out preventive maintenance and maintain the normal functioning of all machines
• Adhere to work procedures as well as company and safety regulations
• Study and become familiar with all machine control systems to troubleshoot issues more efficiently when problems arise
• Conduct routine checks of spare parts inventory
• Carry out the jobs assigned by the superior and planner
• Perform multitasking duties

Who you are

• You hold a diploma in Mechatronics Electrical Engineering or Automation
• You have 510 years of relevant working experience
• You have experience and knowledge in basic pneumatic and hydraulic systems (an advantage)
• You have experience and knowledge in basic drive applications (an advantage)
