Job Summary
This position leads and mentors a team of Supplier Quality Engineers to drive a zero-defect culture enforce ISO 9001 compliance and ensure strict intellectual property protection. The core focus is managing end-to-end supplier performance through audits structured problem-solving (8D 5-Why) root-cause CAPA tracking and key quality metrics (DPPM). Additionally the role collaborates with Supply Chain Management to qualify new vendors manage cross-functional risks and deliver executive performance reporting
Requirements
Strong technical knowledge in machining and assembly processes.
Solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and implementation.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills (5 Why 8D Pareto Fault Tree Analysis DMAIC).
Data driven mindset with ability to interpret and present quality performance metrics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage suppliers and cross functional stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (FMEA SPC MSA PPAP APQP) is an added advantage.
Experience or working knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred; Green Belt certification is an advantage
