Storekeeper cum Weighbridge Clerk
Job Summary
The Storekeeper cum Weighbridge Clerk is responsible for managing daily weighbridge operations executing accurate SAP transactions (including Goods Receipt Notes / GRN) and maintaining tight inventory control across store operations. This role bridges physical material handling with SAP system accuracy to ensure smooth receiving stock reconciliation and operational compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Weighbridge Operations & Incoming Material Receiving
- Operate weighbridge equipment to weigh incoming raw materials bulk shipments and outgoing vehicles accurately.
- Verify incoming delivery orders (DO) weighbridge slips supplier documentation and physical goods against purchase orders (PO).
- Ensure incoming vehicles adhere to site safety and operational guidelines
SAP Transactions & Administrative Control
- Execute precise Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) postings in SAP in a timely manner.
- Maintain data integrity in SAP by promptly resolving system errors quantity mismatches or delivery discrepancies.
- Archive and maintain all physical and digital records (weighbridge tickets DOs GRNs) for audit compliance.
Inventory Management & Storekeeping
- Perform regular stock takes cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliations against SAP system records.
- Monitor material storage ensure proper bin location tagging and adhere to First-In First-Out (FIFO) principles.
- Identify and report stock variances damaged goods or slow-moving items immediately.
- Assist in coordinating material loading and unloading activitie.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Maintain clean organized and safe workplace standards within the weighbridge and storage areas.
- Ensure strict adherence to company EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) policies and standard operating procedures
Security
- Maintain Sika information with appropriate secrecy and adhere to policies regarding confidential information
- Always maintain confidentiality of formulation
Any other tasks assigned from time to time

Qualifications :
SPM / STPM / Diploma in Logistics Supply Chain Business Administration or equivalent.
Additional Information :
- Minimum 23 years of experience in warehouse/storekeeping operations and weighbridge management.
- Hands-on proficiency with SAP (MM/WM modules) is strictly required
- Will be based at Nilai plant.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of inventory management receiving procedures and GRN processing.
- Computer literate (MS Office particularly Excel).
- High attention to detail numerical accuracy and integrity.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
