Storage Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise storage infrastructure across production DR and non-production environments.
• Perform storage provisioning capacity management performance tuning replication management and lifecycle planning.
• Lead storage hardware and software upgrades firmware updates migrations and technology refresh initiatives.
• Manage SAN environments storage networking zoning multipathing and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Support business-critical insurance applications requiring high availability and stringent recovery objectives.
• Design and implement storage replication backup integration disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Monitor storage utilization performance metrics trends and proactively address capacity or performance risks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure database virtualization cloud and security teams during projects and operational activities.
• Support regulatory and audit requirements related to data retention protection security and operational resilience.
• Develop and maintain storage architecture documentation SOPs operational runbooks and technical standards.
• Participate in incident management root cause analysis problem management and service improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior infrastructure engineers.
