POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


Achieve year-on-year value improvements across quality service innovation and cost
Identify and recommend solutions to business problems spot opportunities for improvement and present ideas to leadership
Establish and support a culture of continuous improvement seeking efficiency automation and innovation
Partner closely with center-led category managers to understand and implement enterprise-wide strategies
Represent network and site-specific requirements with the category management organization
Collaborate with key support functions (e.g. legal finance quality/compliance) to align on supply management objectives
Ensure manufacturing sites receive consistent support including stakeholder engagement site-level diagnostics workshops to identify savings and supplier quality/supply continuity oversight
Serve as a communication link between manufacturing facilities and suppliers
Build strong supplier relationships and serve as the primary contact for issue resolution
Lead supplier negotiations and implement strategy changes as needed
Develop robust data gathering and maintenance protocols to ensure spend transparency and establish a baseline for sourcing cost reduction
Conduct internal and external benchmarks and gap analyses; define required actions to achieve functional advantage
Emphasize risk mitigation and ensure execution of procedures that protect supply and operational stability

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


Bachelors degree in Sourcing Supply Chain Business or equivalent
Relevant experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain or advanced degree with a minimum 4 years of relevant experience


SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLSET REQUIRED:


Highly proficient in Excel PowerPoint Power BI
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Demonstrated leadership customer service problem solving communication negotiation tact judgment and organizational skills
High attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication


DESIRED / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Strategy development and execution aligned with Strategic Sourcing methodology
Experience in FDA-regulated industries
Ability to partner with and influence internal technical experts
Proven ability to influence teams and external suppliers to deliver results
Strong program management skills
Solid business and legal acumen
Positive and energetic team player with strong cross-functional collaboration experience
