Ansell is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist (Supply Planning) to join our team in Cyberjaya!
In this position you will be responsible for ensuring product availability within the S&OE horizon (018 months depending on product type and production lead time) while optimizing finished goods inventory across an assigned portfolio of products and suppliers for all global Ansell regions and warehouses.
The role executes and follows up on the approved Integrated Business Planning (IBP) supply plan raises and adjusts production purchase orders (POs) based on constrained supply plans and closely monitors PO fulfillment with sources of supply.
The BU Category Planning Specialist acts as the primary contact for regional teams regarding product availability inventory and lead times providing proactive analysis root cause identification and corrective actions for supply shortages and delays within the S&OE horizon.

What your role will be
1. Supply Planning & Constraint Management
- Consolidate the Net Requirement Plan (NRP) for warehouse and direct shipment (DS) demand across all regions for the assigned product portfolio of styles.
- Align unconstrained demand with supply constraints and prepare the constrained Net Requirement Plan (NRP) by
- Adherence to the bottleneck capacity constraints (to be identified via the Rough Cut Capacity Planning process)
- Adherence to size ratio constraints as per the former availabilities
- Adherence to MOQ (minimum order quantities) where-ever applicable
- Adherence to Source(s) of Supply fixed run schedules wherever applicable
- Adherence to critical raw material (latex/yarn/chemicals etc) availability
- Adherence to inventory targets per region (wherever unconstrained)
- Level loading wherever possible
- Communicate constrained supply plans to manufacturing sites and release purchase orders (POs) based on the constrained plan
2. Product Availability & Supply Flow Management
- Creating firmed (constrained) finished goods PO to Source(s) of Supply
- Plan replenishment order changes (quantity or date)
- Conduct bi-weekly supply meeting with Source(s) of Supply to follow up on PO status & track supply promised date with Source (s) of Supply
- Review production adherence with Source(s) of Supply setting production priority for the order horizon based on Net Customer Back Orders (CBO)/inventory levels according to lobal allocations.
- Escalate to BU Category Planning Manager/Senior Specialist whenever production issues cannot be resolved within order horizon.
- Actively partner with Global Logistics Control Tower to drive priorities
- Minimize and proactively communicate supply & critical raw material constraints in the order horizon escalate to SBU planning manager in case of unavailability.
- Key KPIs: Internal OTIF Internal STP (shared with manufacturing sites)
3. Short-Term Inventory Management
- Perform weekly (or bi-weekly) reviews of global net CBO (warehouse and direct shipment) and identify root causes with demand or plant planners
- Monitor inventory coverage and investigate excess or shortage situations
- Enable and coordinate inter-region inventory transfers where required
- Escalate short-term demand/supply impacts to BU Planning Manager
- Manage expedited freight (air freight) requests when necessary
- Key KPIs: Inventory cover Net CBO accuracy
4. Capacity Parameters & Master Data Management
- Collect and maintain plant capacity parameters (e.g. calendars OEE line speed cycle times)
- Initiate MDM change requests across ERP systems when required
- Support product lifecycle management including new product introductions (NPIs) in collaboration with demand planning and regional teams
5. Supply Review Meetings & S&OE Meetings
- Lead SRM (Supply Review Meetings) with manufacturing sites on monthly basis to review the NRP assess supply constraints and align on the final NRP
- Conduct bi-weekly S&OE meetings with regional planning teams to address short-term supply and demand issues
What will you bring to Ansell
- Bachelors degree in a supply chain engineering or business-related field
- Experience in Supply Chain planning
- Exposure to dynamic supply chain environments
- Experience in multinational matrix organizations is an advantage
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Solid knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
- Continuous improvement mindset and curiosity
- Understanding of BOM structures and replenishment logic
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Flexibility to collaborate across global time zones
- Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites and regional offices as required
