Role Overview

Drive business growth and maintain client relationships across Malaysia with a primary focus on Penang. This role bridges commercial development and hands-on software solution delivery to meet client needs effectively.

Role: Solutions Engineer (Sales & Technical)

What Youll Do:

  • Business Development & Account Management
    • Drive sales growth and nurture existing client accounts prioritizing Northern Malaysia.
    • Build long-term relationships with key client stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Identify potential leads create technical proposals present pitches and lead contract discussions.
    • Conduct client site visits and participate in relevant industry events.
  • Technical Solutions & Execution
    • Gather client requirements to design build and deploy customized software solutions and POC prototypes.
    • Provide technical troubleshooting software demonstrations system testing and user training.
    • Collaborate with internal engineering teams for seamless project delivery and maintain technical documentation.
  • Reporting & Operations
    • Keep accurate records of accounts opportunities and project statuses.
    • Submit weekly activity reports and provide market intelligence on competitor trends and customer feedback.
  • What Were Looking For:

    • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a software-related role.
    • Proven background in technical sales business development pre-sales or solution engineering.
    • Experience in software prototyping technical troubleshooting requirement gathering and system deployment.
    • Strong communication stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Remuneration

    • Monthly salary: RM6000 - RM8800
