Job Summary

Job Description:

As a Full Stack Developer you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our web applications (Angular NodeJS) and backend services (Java Spring Boot). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless development and integration of front-end and back-end components delivering exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development a keen eye for detail and a passion for keeping up with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product managers UI/UX designers technical leads and fellow developers to design and implement robust software solutions.
Participating in daily stand up sprint planning retrospective meetings during project implementation phase.
Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using Angular ensuring optimal performance across various devices and browsers.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and back-end services using Java/SpringBoot to support front-end functionalities.
Write unit integration and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality and performance.
Work with databases and data models to ensure efficient data storage retrieval and manipulation.

Skills

Proven experience (min 3 years) as a Full Stack Developer with hands-on expertise in Angular NodeJS and Java with Spring Boot.
Familiarity with the Angular framework and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Microservices Model-View-Controller (MVC) and Entity framework)
Strong understanding of web development fundamentals including HTML CSS and JavaScript.
Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Solid knowledge of database systems SQL and data modeling.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and agile development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes
Experience deploying or integrating applications on AWS (EKS / EC2 / S3 / RDS)
Exposure to testing frameworks like Jasmine Karma (Angular) JUnit Mockito (Java).
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience using IDE tools like Visual Studio Code and Eclipse.
Self-driven collaborative and passionate about clean maintainable code.

Requirements

Education and Certification

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
Certification in AWS Certified: Developer Associate or equivalent is a plus.

What we need to see from you

Report to development team lead.
Work within agile team to develop and test applications
Design develop and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
Assist senior developer(s) in analyzing and resolving technical issues.
Assist in preparing manuals specification and other technical documentation.
Package and support deployment releases.
Developing refining and tuning integrations between applications.
Assisting in the collection and documentation of users requirements development of user stories and estimates.

Required Skills:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in web-based enterprise software development Proficient in SQL C# MS SQL Database RESTful API HTML5 AJAX CSS JSON MVC LINQ Git JavaScript jQuery Bootstrap Good understanding and application of tools principles concepts and techniques related to requirements data usability and process analysis Excellent time management skills and ability to work within a rapidly changing environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and drive to improve existing business processes and procedures Good communication (oral written presentation) interpersonal and consultative skills Good team player with excellent work ethic Ability to work with various senior stakeholders Desire to learn new technologies and skills Deliver high-quality projects independently with minimal assistance Proficiency in operating measurement instruments is an added advantage Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process Experience with performance and/or security testing Experience with Eggplant test automation tool is a plus Experience with JIRA issue tracker is a plus Problem solving skill and good communication skill Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to work independently Positive thinking and good self-discipline Applicants must be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status
