About the Role:

Our Platform Services Engineering team builds and maintains the cloud-based applications RESTful APIs and shared services that power Experian Software Solutions products. We are looking for a Software Engineer to help design develop and enhance both the backend services and user-facing applications delivered through our rapidly growing cloud platform.

In this role you will work across the full technology stack building scalable microservices intuitive web interfaces and reusable platform capabilities that enable our product teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Youll collaborate closely with Product UX Architecture and Engineering teams applying your software development expertise system design thinking and problem-solving skills to create secure reliable and high-performing solutions.

This is an opportunity to make a significant impact by shaping both the services and user experiences that support multiple products across the Experian Software Solutions portfolio.

What Youll Do Here

1. Develop support and continuously improve core platform services and infrastructure components including event-driven services identity and access management user navigation services and shared platform capabilities. Ensure solutions are scalable secure maintainable and aligned with engineering standards using modern cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices.
2. Work closely with teams on the process of requirements gathering with various stakeholders across teams. (Product Owner Architect User experience Delivery and Support functions Site Reliability Engineering/Operations team etc.).
3. Deal with routine support queries technical documentation demos and fixes where required.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• What Were Looking For 02 years of software development experience including internships co-op programs academic projects or professional experience. Basic understanding of software engineering principles object-oriented programming and modern application development technologies. Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java JavaScript React Angular or similar. Exposure to cloud platforms databases APIs and software development tools through coursework projects or work experience. Proficient in deploying and managing containerized applications in production using container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and AWS EKS. Familiar with AWS in various services such as RDS S3 CloudFront and etc. Basic knowledge of software testing version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and apply new technologies. Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in an Agile team environment. Demonstrated curiosity growth mindset and a passion for building high-quality software solutions. Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks seek feedback and continuously improve technical and professional skills.
