• Operate monitor and maintain the hotels high and low voltage electrical distribution systems in accordance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations.
• Perform routine inspections preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment switchboards transformers generators and related systems.
• Respond promptly to electrical faults and emergencies to minimise operational downtime.
• Monitor Building Management System (BMS) electrical panels and utility consumption.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors during maintenance repairs and project works.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with statutory requirements and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs inspection reports and equipment records.
• Assist in planning and implementing energy conservation initiatives.
• Ensure proper lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices are followed.
• Support hotel operations by attending to guest and departmental maintenance requests.
• Participate in emergency response procedures including power failures and fire safety drills.
• Maintain good housekeeping within plant rooms substations and engineering work areas.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer or Engineering Management.

Requirements

• Possess a validChargeman A4 Certificateissued bySuruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia.
• Minimum 23 years of experience in electrical maintenance preferably within hotels commercial buildings hospitals or large facilities.
• Good understanding of electrical distribution systems generators transformers UPS and LV systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) is an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts weekends and public holidays.
• Basic computer literacy for maintenance reporting.
