We are seeking a critical-thinking dynamic and meticulous Accounts Executive to join a high-performing finance this role you will manage full-set accounting workflows ensure absolute precision in daily financial recording and oversee key functions spanning accounts payable accounts receivable credit control and corporate budgeting. The ideal candidate possesses a positive forward-thinking mindset takes full ownership of tight financial deadlines and thrives with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
1. General Ledger & Corporate Finance
Manage full-set accounts ensuring daily financial transactions are accurately updated and reconciled across SQL accounting software and cloud systems.
Lead the prompt and accurate closure of monthly quarterly and year-end financial statements.
Execute thorough balance sheet inter-company and trustee account reconciliations.
Maintain the corporate fixed asset register and compute depreciation values regularly.
Support external auditors during year-end cycles and coordinate with statutory bodies for tax filing requirements (including SST/GST compliance).
Identify opportunities to strengthen internal financial controls and optimize workflows to support business expansion (Elaborated Point).
2. Accounts Payable (AP)
Review verify and input accounts payable data daily in accordance with corporate accounting standards.
Facilitate outgoing trade and non-trade vendor disbursements alongside statutory payments seamlessly.
Formulate and analyze vendor aging reports to maintain healthy working capital cycles.
Investigate and resolve invoice variances by reconciling statements directly with external suppliers.
3. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Credit Control
Overlook the billing engine by generating timely commercial invoices statement of accounts (SOA) debit notes and credit notes.
Assess and monitor customer credit risks and payment behaviors to prevent defaults or non-performing assets.
Track collection statuses generate AR aging reports and team up with the operations department to resolve client billing discrepancies.
Proactively strategize cash flow optimization initiatives based on customer historical remittance patterns (Elaborated Point).
4. Budgeting Forecasting & Analytics
Build comprehensive structural budget models aligned with organizational targets.
Conduct rigorous budget-versus-variance analyses (covering revenues and operational expenditure) to keep expenditures within approved boundaries.
Assess incoming funding proposals for accuracy compliance and institutional merit.
Perform detailed cost-benefit analyses to drive fiscal value and project future capital or funding requirements.
Education: Minimum of an LCCI Higher Diploma or a Professional Degree in Accounting Finance Banking or a related field.
Experience: Proven track record as an Accounts Executive with an airtight grasp of foundational bookkeeping and accounting standards.
Technical Skills: Highly proficient with Microsoft Officeparticularly advanced Excel features like Pivot Tables. Practical experience with SQL accounting software is highly advantageous.
Key Attributes: Exceptionally meticulous organized and capable of working productively under tight pressure and minimal supervision.
Communication: Excellent written and spoken English. The ability to converse fluently in Mandarin is a significant advantage to effectively support diverse stakeholder relations.
