The Senior Software Engineer designs develops and delivers enterprise-grade AI solutions for leading organizations across banking healthcare and other industries.
You will work on a diverse range of innovative solutions including conversational AI Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platforms AI agents intelligent document processing workflow automation knowledge management systems and enterprise integrations.
Working closely with Solution Architects Data Scientists and Technical Leads you will build scalable secure and production-ready applications that solve real business challenges while leveraging modern cloud and AI technologies.
- Design develop and maintain scalable backend services APIs and enterprise applications.
- Develop modern responsive web applications and user interfaces.
- Build enterprise AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) AI agents and workflow automation.
- Integrate applications with enterprise systems databases REST APIs authentication platforms and third-party services.
- Design and implement scalable secure and maintainable software following engineering best practices.
- Participate in solution architecture technical design discussions and technology evaluations.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot optimise and resolve application issues across development testing and production environments.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners Solution Architects Data Scientists UI/UX Designers DevOps Engineers and fellow Software Engineers.
- Continuously explore emerging technologies and contribute to improving engineering processes and product capabilities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python Java or .
- Experience developing modern web applications using React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of software architecture object-oriented programming design patterns and clean coding principles.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB).
- Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerised application development.
- Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in Agile teams.
