Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY
Senior Security Coordinator as part of the Security Management team playing an integral role in thedelivery of security strategy to reduce risk and respond effectively to emerging threats in managing the sitesecurity physical operation and system. The job holder will provide hands-on day-to-day supervision andguidance to Mattel security control center (CCTV) and physical guarding officers ensuring the effectivedelivery of monitoring and manned guarding services to the highest standards always.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Physical Security Management:
- Recruiting training and supervising security guards officers and other personnel responsible for patrolling and securing facilities.
- Manage security operations including access system surveillance systems guard management and physical security equipment are adequate and functional and the center is always appropriately staffed.
- Evaluate and measure the performance of outsourced security companies.
- Overseeing the installation maintenance and monitoring of surveillance cameras alarm systems and other security technologies to deter and detect security breaches.
- Coordinate and conducted inspections buildings security equipment systems security and Guardforce to ensure the compliance are follow the company policies and procedures. Take remedial action as and when shortcomings and deviations are detected.
2. Security Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and execute long-term security plans and strategies to address evolving security threats and risks.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management for enhancing the organizations overall security posture.
- Coordinate and execute the security program and align with company priorities and meet departmental goals.
3. Risk Assessment and Management:
- Developing risk mitigation strategies and implementing appropriate controls to minimize security risks for the site.
- Conducting comprehensive security risk assessments at the site to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate regular assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
4. Incident Response and Crisis Management:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures for various scenarios including fires medical emergencies and security breaches and coordinating responses as necessary.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external agencies such as law enforcement during security incidents.
- Lead the investigations in any related security incidents accordingly (e.g. breach Brand Protection Intellectual Property issues theft cases workplace violence etc.)
5. Security Training and Awareness:
- Develop and coordinate security awareness training programs for employees and educate them about security risks procedures and best practices.
- Provide specialized training to security personnel on emergency response protocols crisis management and incident handling.
- Coordinate activities and collaborate with other departments/stakeholders and promote securityawareness programs in an organization.
Others:
- Coordinate the department on the security protocol execution restricted access products (RAP) project and coordinate the security measures to support business activities needs.
- Evaluate the risk on the special projects such as Restricted Access Products (RAP).
- Lead the department security on the program supply chain security methodologies including the others department such logistic material procurement and inventory control are being adhered to and enforced.
- Lead the organization on the security compliance in supply chain security and adhered to compliance under the program SCAN C-TPAT TAPA ICTI TARGET and ISO.
Qualifications Skills & Experience
- Minimum SPM/Diploma and above in a relevant field such as Security Management or Business Administration. Advanced certifications (e.g. CPP PSP CISSP TAPA C-TPAT) are an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising or managing surveillance security officers guarding force and security systems.
- Ability to converse fluently in English and local language.
- Experienced in conducting investigations on related security incidents: breach loss prevention cases workplace violence etc.
- Exceptional leadership skills and ability to command respect among peers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- Personal drive and the ability to be a self-starter as well as a team player and problem solver.
- Strong organizational analytical and time management skills with very good attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and good communication skills.
