Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Drive the creation of sales-qualified opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline through strategic outbound and inbound prospecting.

  • Conduct in-depth account mapping and source leads that align precisely with our target customer personas.

  • Leverage modern AI solutions to enhance prospect research and deliver tailored messaging.

  • Initiate new business partnerships utilizing diverse channels including phone email and social media to showcase MoEngage solutions.

  • Identify and articulate how MoEngage can effectively address prospect challenges regarding user engagement and retention.

  • Engage with key stakeholders to evaluate purchase authority budget availability and implementation timelines.

  • Nurture prospect relationships through consistent high-quality communication to guide opportunities through the sales funnel.

  • Partner with Marketing to qualify inbound interest and ensure seamless handoffs to the Sales team.

  • Work in tandem with Account Executives to execute in-territory mapping and prioritize key accounts.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Development Manager to hit weekly monthly and quarterly pipeline targets and KPIs.

  • Maintain meticulous records in the CRM ensuring data accuracy for all prospective client interactions and dashboards.

  • Contribute to organizational growth by sharing and adopting industry-leading best practices.

  • This role is directly accountable for driving business and revenue growth across various organizational sectors.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record with 2-3 years of pertinent experience within the SEA market
  • Prior background as an SDR within a SaaS environment
  • Hold any bachelors level degree
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms sales enablement tools prospecting software and web-conferencing technology
  • Adept at thriving in dynamic rapidly evolving remote work settings
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration with sales marketing and development teams to achieve collective goals
  • Superior communication active listening and presentation abilities
  • Exceptional capabilities in time management and organizational planning

About the Team:

  • The SDR team at MoEngage acts as a vital driver for pipeline expansion focusing on identifying and nurturing qualified prospects across SMB Mid-Market and Enterprise segments to meet high-value pipeline targets through Sales Qualified Leads.
  • To optimize prospect research and engagement the team utilizes modern AI technology alongside premier sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator Outreach LeadIQ and Lusha.
  • We execute strategic prospecting to secure AE discovery meetings by mapping stakeholder pain points to MoEngage value propositions and validating messaging.
  • The team owns the detailed handoff process to ensure seamless SDR-AE collaboration.
  • We mandates providing a complete Discovery Brief in Salesforce which captures strategic business context technical environment details (like current tech stack and known integration needs) and key decision criteria for every account
  • Scoping follows the MEDDICC framework to identify Economic Buyers champions and decision urgency converting pain points into committed timelines.
  • This position is growth-oriented providing career advancement pathways toward Senior SDR AE or Team Lead positions.
