Senior Product Designer

You will:

• Partner with product managers and engineers to frame user and business problems define what success looks like and shape product direction for Carousells Marketplace.

• Use data metrics and research to understand user behaviour find opportunities and inform design decisions.

• Design end-to-end experiences from flows and information architecture to interaction and visual detail that balance the needs of buyers sellers and the marketplace as a whole.

• Use AI tools to build working prototypes that let the team test ideas align stakeholders and learn faster.

• Think in systems: design reusable patterns and components and consider how a change affects the rest of the product.

• Work hand in hand with engineers in fast release cycles making sound trade-offs and keeping quality high through to launch.

• Measure the impact of what you ship and feed what you learn back into the next iteration.

• Contribute to design excellence across Carousell through critique sharing practices and raising the bar on craft.

Qualifications :

You have: 

• User obsession and empathy.

• Strong product sense and problem-solving skills: you define problems clearly before jumping to solutions.

• Strong analytical sense: you understand product metrics and use data to frame problems and evaluate outcomes.

• A portfolio of shipped work with strong interaction and visual craft.

• Hands-on experience building working prototypes with AI tools.

• Strong systems thinking shown both in how you design and how you reason about the product.

• Experience using research to inform design decisions.

• Clear concise communication and experience working closely with engineers in fast release cycles.

• High integrity and the ability to collaborate positively with others.

• 5 years of experience designing user-facing digital products.

Additional Information :

Good to have:

• Experience with livestream or marketplace products

• Coding or web development experience

• Experience designing consumer products in SEA
