Senior Linux Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to maintain the reliability security and performance of Linux servers and associated infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install configure and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat CentOS).
• Perform regular system updates patch management and security hardening.
• Manage user accounts permissions and file systems.
• Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios Prometheus Grafana) to ensure system health.
• Respond to alerts promptly troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Experience with hypervisors like RHEV Hypervisor and VMware.
• Create and manage virtual machines (VMs) and maintain virtualized environments.
• Identify and resolve system and application-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with virtualization and hypervisors (RHEV Hypervisor VMware).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have:

• DevOps experience and skills in automation tools (e.g. Ansible Jenkins) is preferred.
