Job Summary
We are searching for a mature and solution-oriented Senior Finance Executive to lead our Accounts Payable (AP) functions and oversee a small accounting team in Shah this full-time role you will be responsible for ensuring financial processing accuracy managing vendor relations and generating critical monthly reports to support key business decisions.
Job Responsibilities
Invoice Processing: Oversee the accurate and timely verification matching and processing of supplier invoices in strict compliance with corporate KPIs and approval workflows.
Stakeholder Liaison: Partner closely with internal purchasing teams departmental end-users and external vendors to efficiently resolve any invoice discrepancies or billing issues.
Vendor Account Reconciliation: Conduct comprehensive monthly vendor Statement of Account (SOA) reconciliations investigate outstanding variances and maintain up-to-date vendor ledgers.
Document Control: Proactively track and retrieve missing financial documents including outstanding statements debit notes credit notes and unreceived invoices.
Liability Reporting: Prepare and review monthly Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) reports to guarantee the precision and completeness of company liabilities.
Management Support: Drive regular follow-ups on outstanding GRNI elements with vendors and buyers and compile ad-hoc financial analyses or reports as requested by leadership.
Requirements
Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of solid experience specializing in Accounts Payable (AP) ideally gained within the manufacturing sector.
Leadership Capability: Demonstrated leadership skills with direct experience supervising mentoring and managing a team of 2 to 3 subordinates.
Core Competencies: A mature highly accountable and adaptable professional equipped with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin; strong Mandarin communication skills are essential to effectively interact with Mandarin-speaking clients and business partners.
