Job Summary
- Lead equipment improvement and optimization projects for Nextool and Towa molding equipment.
- Analyze equipment performance trends and identify opportunities to improve OEE throughput and reliability.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment-related issues.
- Develop and implement equipment upgrades modifications and automation solutions.
- Conduct engineering studies DOE and capability evaluations to improve machine performance.
- Collaborate with Production Process Engineering Quality and suppliers on technical improvements and problem resolution.
- Support equipment qualification validation and implementation of process changes.
- Drive cost reduction downtime reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation standards and best practices.
What You Will Need
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electrical Electronics Mechatronics Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment engineering or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience with molding processes and semiconductor assembly equipment.
Must Have
- Experience in equipment improvement optimization and reliability enhancement.
- Strong knowledge of root cause analysis FMEA SPC DOE and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience leading engineering improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret equipment performance data.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and equipment suppliers.
- Experience with Nextool and/or Towa molding equipment.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Knowledge of automation Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing solutions.
- Experience with equipment upgrades machine modifications or CAPEX projects.
- Familiarity with MES and manufacturing data analytics tools.
