Senior Electrical & Services Engineer

As our Senior Electrical and Services Engineer youll join our engineering team providing electrical controls telecommunications and services engineering across our mission critical data centre facilities. Youll work across the full project lifecycle from feasibility and concept design through to construction commissioning and building tuning helping ensure our facilities are designed and delivered to the highest standard. 

This is a hands on technical role for someone who enjoys variety from detailed engineering coordination and Revit MEP modelling to on site troubleshooting and facilities management support. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Providing engineering for electrical controls telecommunications and services with flexibility to support other disciplines as required 

• Ensuring high quality shop drawing coordination and contractor installation and testing 

• Producing and/or reviewing Revit-MEP BIM models 

• Managing design consultants to deliver designs to NEXTDCs required specifications 

• Performing concept schematic and detailed design and/or review 

• Conducting site inspections on site commissioning and troubleshooting during construction

Qualifications :

• Expertise in electrical and telecommunications engineering for mission critical data centre facilities  

• Experience producing accurate fully coordinated Revit-MEP models  

• Strong skills in engineering calculations studies and cost analysis  

• A sharp eye for detail  

• Ability to communicate engineering design principles clearly to stakeholders at all levels  

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with Chartered status and energy modelling experience highly regarded
