About the Opportunity
As a Sales Development Representative in Malaysia youll play a pivotal role in driving business growth in the SEA market. Your primary responsibility will be to identify develop and generate qualified sales leads through outbound and inbound channels for the Business Development team.
We are looking for a proactive go-getter with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset who is ready to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Leveraging telephonic email digital and social channels youll engage prospects nurture relationships with key decision-makers and be at the heart of our sales engine in SEA.
What You Will Do
- Cold call email and leverage digital and social channels to identify and cultivate qualified sales leads
- Engage prospects effectively to nurture relationships with key decision-makers and qualify leads for the Business Development team
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers to facilitate new sales opportunities and account development
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and align solutions accordingly
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to devise and execute targeted outreach campaigns
- Drive interest and generate qualified leads through strategic multichannel efforts
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective accounts ensuring timely follow-up and effective management throughout the sales cycle
- Provide regular updates on lead status and progress to relevant stakeholders
- Use CRM software (Salesforce) and sales prospecting tools to track activities and optimize performance
Who Were Looking For
- 13 years of inside sales or business development experience in a B2B industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage key decision-makers and build rapport
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative to get things done
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and sales prospecting tools (LinkedIn etc.)
- Fluency in English & Mandarin
- Passion for travel and the travel industry
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
