Were looking for a skilled Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment across all operations.

Job Summary

  • Responsible for the operation maintenance testing and certification of Life Safety Equipment and Systems including proper maintenance of logbooks and records.
  • Conduct Life Safety Training for all hotel employees at the appropriate level.
  • Supervise hotel fire and smoke compartments including all designated escape routes and emergency exits.
  • Monitor hotel compliance with the requirements of the Shangri-La Group Safety & Loss Manual report any deviations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Requirement

  • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Building Services or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in an industrial environment (e.g. electrical services) fire engineering firefighting or a hotel engineering division. Experience in facilities management is preferred.
  • Pass the assessment conducted by Shangri-La Group Engineering.
  • To pass FLSM certification assessment:
  • Registered licensed or certified by a state or local authority to perform fire safety engineering duties; or
  • Certified by a nationally recognized certification organization; or
  • Demonstrated competency through relevant training and practical experience.
  • Fluent in both oral and written English and the local language.
  • Tactful goal-oriented proactive and self-motivated.
