R&D FPGA Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Design develop test and debug FPGA/RTL solutions for new products and systems through the full product life cycle from customer/market requirement definition through release and post-release support.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams (hardware firmware/software validation) to ensure FPGA implementation meets product specifications functionality and performance requirements.
3. Define and document design architecture module interfaces and verification/test approaches; contribute to product specifications and validation plans.
4. Develop and execute testing/validation activities to evaluate designs against specifications and drive issue resolution via root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
5. Contribute to continuous improvement by monitoring industry/technology trends and applying appropriate new methods/tools to improve design quality performance or development efficiency.

Qualifications

1. Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering Computer Engineering or Masters or Ph.D. with a research focus on digital systems VLSI signal processing or a closely related technical discipline.
2. Experience with Xilinx Vivado/ISE and/or Intel/Altera Quartus Prime.
3. Experience with Python C/C or MATLAB/Simulink for DSP modeling and algorithm prototyping.
