We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Quantity Surveyor in Malaysia. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit client progress claims and variation order claims.
- Review and verify subcontractor progress claims and payment submissions.
- Assist in budget costing and project cost analysis.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations.
- Prepare purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare final statements of accounts for completed projects.
- Update monthly contract department reports for ongoing projects.
- Take off quantities from tender drawings for tender submissions.
Required Skills
- Quantity Surveying Cost control and project valuation.
- Contract Administration Handling contracts POs and documentation.
- Claims Management Client and subcontractor claim processing.
- Cost Estimation Budgeting and project cost analysis.
- Tendering & Quantification Quantity take-off and tender support.
Preferred Skills
- Construction project coordination.
- Negotiation with vendors and subcontractors.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
Work Experience Requirements
Experience in quantity surveying contract administration cost control claims management or construction project support is preferred. If specific experience is not provided a typical range for this role is 25 years in construction engineering or contracting environments.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models Piping Isometrics GA drawings and Piping -depth knowledge of Piping BOM MTO and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Required Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
