Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of QA/QC Engineer in Malaysia. Our client is a reputed organization in the Engineering and Manufacturing sector seeking skilled motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
- Plan and coordinate daily QA/QC inspection activities with inspectors and subcontractors.
- Manage quality-related communication with consultants inspectors and client representatives.
- Review inspection reports and ensure timely documentation submission.
- Conduct material fabrication welding painting and final delivery inspections.
- Monitor NCR and QOR reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain project quality records WQT FQT WPS and PQP documentation.
- Participate in client quality meetings and internal quality reviews.
- Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with project standards.
- Quality Assurance & Quality Control Managing quality systems and inspections.
- Welding Inspection Reviewing welding processes and compliance.
- Fabrication Inspection Ensuring fabrication meets project specifications.
- NCR & QOR Management Tracking non-conformance and corrective actions.
- Documentation & Reporting Maintaining inspection and quality records.
- Internal and External Audit Support
- Knowledge of PQAP and Quality Standards
- Team Leadership and Mentoring
Experience requirements were not specified in the JD. Typical experience for a QA/QC Engineer in engineering/manufacturing environments is 38 years including exposure to fabrication welding inspection quality documentation and audit processes.
- Minimum: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field (Typical)
- Preferred: Masters Degree or Quality-related specialization (Typical)
- Additional Certifications: CSWIP AWS NDT ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (Typical)
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models Piping Isometrics GA drawings and Piping -depth knowledge of Piping BOM MTO and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Required Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
