About the client:

Our client are wholesaler/distributor of electrical and electronic consumer products focus on household electrical appliances consumer electronics and related goods.

They are seeking a Purchasing Executive to join the team. The Purchasing Executive will play a crucial role in the supply chain operations responsible for sourcing procuring and managing inventory to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of their manufacturing and logistics business.

Job Scope:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors negotiating terms and conditions to secure competitive pricing and quality standards.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations teams to forecast procurement needs and prevent stockouts.
  • Track shipments and manage delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on time and in optimal condition.
  • Maintain detailed records of purchases invoices and supplier communications for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues manage returns and ensure quality compliance of delivered goods.
  • Analyse spends data and identifies opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of supplier relationships to ensure ongoing reliability and performance.
  • Assist in the implementation of procurement systems and tools to streamline purchasing workflows.

Requirement:

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management Procurement or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in purchasing procurement or inventory management within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes supplier management and inventory control systems.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
