Job Summary
Our Regional Contract Management and Procurement team is driving the sourcing and vendor strategy behind our growth in Australia and Malaysia. As our Procurement Specialist youll lead strategic sourcing activities and manage supplier relationships across our regional operations working closely with Technical Legal Compliance and Commercial stakeholders to deliver outcomes that support our data centre growth.
This role suits someone who thrives on end to end ownership from tendering through to contract management and who wants exposure to a fast growing mission critical industry. Here you will:
Lead sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ) from supplier identification through to award recommendations
Design and implement category strategies to drive cost reduction and standardisation
Manage contract negotiation and drafting including key commercial terms and SLAs
Oversee vendor performance and act as escalation point for contractual issues
Coordinate regional B2B engagements including liaison with government stakeholders
Provide market and category intelligence to identify sourcing opportunities
Your responsibilities will also include:
Translating business requirements into local sourcing initiatives working closely with parent company stakeholders
Advising stakeholders on deal terms risk and local market practice
Managing structured handovers from tender activity to contract management
Administering vendor contracts and reviewing deliverables for compliance
Running regular vendor performance and cadence meetings
Supporting the development and construction of new and existing facilities

Qualifications :
46 years procurement experience in a similar role
Experience within Mining Engineering Construction or Project Management environments
Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Business Engineering or a related discipline
Strong contract drafting negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; multilingual (English and Malay) highly regarded
Industry certification from IACCM/CIPS/IFPSM (desirable).
