Job Description:

AsHitachi Rail STS we are advancing railsignallingand safety solutions to ensure safe and efficient railway operations worldwide.

PMO Protege Trainee (Ref.No. R1012714)

at our location in Kuala-Lumpur

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

Project Governance & Coordination:

  • Define and implement project standards delivery plans and governance frameworks.

  • Maintain comprehensive PMO documentation including project registers reports logs and plans.

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings including preparing agendas documenting minutes tracking actions and ensuring follow-ups.

  • Monitor project interdependencies escalate risks and support audits stage reviews and lessons learned.

  • Prepare andconsolidateinternal and external reporting packs for stakeholders.

  • Track budgets resource allocations and expenditures.

  • Ensure compliance with project timelines standards and quality requirements.

  • Liaise with stakeholders to providetimelyandaccuratestatus updates.

Technical Awareness & Support:

  • Understand and interpret technical documentation.

  • Apply basictechnicalknowledge to support project discussions.

  • Collaborate effectively with technical teams

You have:

  • Goodproject governance capabilities along with a solid foundation in technical understanding.

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Electronic Telecommunications Mechanical Engineering or Project Management

  • Familiarity with railway signalling systems and technical documentation.

  • Proficiencyin MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and tools like SharePoint and AutoCAD.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts.

  • Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving capabilities.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional dependable and adaptable to changing project needs.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
