Job Summary

The selected candidate will be an integral part of our CST Tire manufacturing plants Plant Operations Department located in Petaling Jaya Selangor.

Core Responsibilities

The intern will be assigned to one or more of the following critical projects:

  1. Develop and implement a sophisticated reporting dashboard using PowerBI to establish an in-house self developed e-Catalogue for the Spare Parts inventory.
  2. Support and assist Centralized Good Store activity and operation needs ensuring accuracy and safety been upheld.
  3. Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the newly installed Finish Goods Warehouse Inspection Stand utilizing the Value Stream Mapping Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis methodology. This analysis will serve as a fundamental basis for subsequent process and cycle time improvement plan to enhance the usability of the machine and process.
  4. Execute a thorough feasibility study on opportunities and potential implementation of automation systems in the PJ warehouse encompassing Finish Goods Crude Material and Spare Parts/Supplies warehouses via digital solutions.
  5. Supports the preparation of image learning for Tire Identification system in Finish Goods Warehouse  

 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Contribute significantly to the development and publication of standard manuals work instructions and essential documentation for process requirements.
  • Assist in the maintenance and publishing of technical documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Actively participate in the Supply Chain Management and Logistics community contributing substantively towards continuous improvement activities for the expanding plant operations.

 

This internship position requires a commitment of 3 - 4 months with a projected start date in June 2026. The role demands a high level of professionalism analytical rigor and dedication to operational excellence.


Qualifications :

Qualified candidates should possess the following:

  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Supply Chain or Logistic or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and RPA
  • Strong English command and proficiency
  • Passionate to explore Supply Chain and Logistics field of interest
