Payroll Specialist

Job Summary
- Accountable for end-to-end payroll process of assigned countries
- Gather information from various departments on payroll inputs and share the details with service provider in prescribed formats
- Preparing and posting all payroll journal entries & reconciliation of accounts
- Co-ordinate with accounting and finance team to arrange payroll funds
- Consolidating bank details and upload for salary process
- Timely submission of filings reporting and payments to statutory bodies
- Clarify all queries related to payroll either with employee or service providers or internal teams
- Addressing employee inquiries resolving payroll discrepancies and troubleshooting any issues that arise
- Handling External and Internal Audits
- Support other payroll activity specific to the region
- Ensure confidentiality of employees & pay records
- Capable of identifying process challenges
- Escalate issues in a timely and effective manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem Solving and customer service mindset
- Very strong calculation / analytical skills
- Intermediate or higher MS Excel skills.
Payroll professional with 5-7 years experience in global payroll environment
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of APAC payroll experience.
