Material Planner

The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring materials are available on time to support production. The role works closely with Production Planning Procurement Warehouse Logistics and Suppliers to maintain the right inventory levels and prevent material shortages or excess stock.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Determining the required materials & generating purchase requisition.
2. Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
3. Coordinate with operations engineering purchasing and quality to attain production goals.
4. Tracking production volume & monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
5. Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
6. Managing inventory issues schedule changes and cancellations.
7. Preparing performance reports.

Qualifications :

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration Engineering or related field.

Technical Skills

• SAP / ERP system knowledge.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning).

Soft Skills

• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
