At PwC our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning compliance and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data prepare and file tax returns and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

Your role

TheOrganisationfor Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Pillar 2 Two Global Minimum Tax (GMT) regime will be adopted by more than 140 countries including Malaysia which will be implementing the GMT as well as the qualified domestic minimum top-up tax in delivery center is pivotal in helping clients navigate and meet their needs in a dynamic business environment. We provide services that streamline operationsoptimizeperformance and improve client satisfaction.

Asa Manager you will play a leadership role in delivering complex multi-jurisdicitonalPillar Two GMT engagements while driving quality efficiency and team capability within the Delivery Centre. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and overseeend-to-enddelivery oflarge-scalePillar Two GMT engagements ensuring accuracy timeliness and adherence to agreed scope and service levels.

  • Provide technical oversight and guidance including complianceand reporting processes across multiplejurisdictions.

  • Review andvalidatecomplex deliverables ensuring technical quality consistency and compliance with relevant standards before submission to clients or network firms.

  • Manage client and stakeholder relationshipsanticipatingneeds proactively addressing risks and proposing practical solutions to emerging issues.

  • Plan andallocateresources effectively across engagements balancing delivery priorities capacity and team development needs.

  • ead coach and develop team members including conducting regular coaching conversations providing constructive feedback and supporting career progression.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enhancingdeliveryworkflowsleveragingtechnology automation tools andstandardisedprocesses to improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Navigate crossborderand diverse team environments coordinating with internal PwC teams and network firms to deliver integrated outcomes.

  • Contribute to technical knowledge development including building internal guidance sharing best practices and supporting training initiatives within the Delivery Centre

  • Support business development and growth initiatives including identifying opportunities to expand services and strengthen client relationships.

  • Uphold and rolemodelthe firms code of ethics and business conduct.

Skills experience and qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accountingor related field and/or professional qualification

  • Strong business technical knowledge with at least 6yearsworking experience in tax complianceand consultancy ideally in a professional services organization

  • Pillar Two GMT knowledge/experience though not will be an added advantage

  • A good understanding of IFRS and/or MFRS rules will be an added advantage

  • A commitment to learn new tax concepts and work in a tax technology environment.

  • Excellent client handling andteam workskills

  • People management and project management experience

  • A good levelof commercial awareness

  • Self-motivatedandan appetite to support business development efforts to advertise our services and secure new clients

  • Possess good English speaking and writing skills
